TRUCK-LITE’S AUTOMOTIVE LIGHTING BUSINESS HAS BEEN ACQUIRED BY CHONGQING BOAO
Birmingham, Michigan – December 6, 2017 – Angle Advisors is pleased to announce that FER, the automotive lighting business of Truck-Lite Co., LLC (“Truck-Lite”) has been acquired by Chongqing Boao Industry Co., Ltd (“Boao”). Angle Advisors acted as the exclusive investment banking advisor to Truck-Lite and FER in completing this transaction.
Based in Eisenach, Germany, FER is a leading Tier I / Tier II supplier of interior and exterior lighting products for light vehicles. FER’s highly engineered products include a wide range of lighting solutions ranging from simple visor lamps to highly sophisticated roof modules which are fully integrated into the vehicle communication matrix. FER primarily serves leading European OEMs and has over 400 employees.
Based in Chongqing, China, Boao is a leading supplier of LED lighting systems, electronic sensors, printed circuit boards, and controllers to automotive original equipment manufacturers.
