PARTS FINISHING GROUP HAS BEEN ACQUIRED BY PIONEER METAL FINISHING
Birmingham, Michigan – December 7, 2012 – Angle Advisors is pleased to announce that Pioneer Metal Finishing, LLC (“Pioneer”) has acquired Parts Finishing Group, Inc. (“PFG” or the “Company”).Angle Advisors acted as the exclusive investment banking advisor to the shareholders of PFG in completing this transaction.
Based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, with operations in the USA and Mexico, PFG is a leading provider of outsourced secondary chemical coating and metal surfacing and finishing services. The Company employs a full array of processes to apply proprietary and licensed coatings including rubber to metal bonding adhesives, zinc rich, epoxy, and dry film lubricants. Chemical coating services are complemented by metal finishing services including kolene stripping, shot blasting and peening, vibratory deburring, honing, and barrel tumbling. The Company engineers metal finishing and coating solutions, sequences multi-step finishing processes, and minimizes finishing costs for over 600 active customers across the automotive, commercial vehicle, military, aerospace, recreational, agricultural, appliance, electronics, and general industrial markets.
