Responsibilities

Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models
Analyze company and industry data, including research on market trends and competitive positioning
Prepare pitch books, presentations, and client materials
Support due diligence, valuation and transaction structuring
Update internal databases and deal tracking systems
Assist with buyer list development and outreach support
Participate in deal team meetings and, where appropriate, client and buyer calls
Perform ad hoc projects and data requests as needed

Qualifications

Enrolled in a bachelor’s program focused on finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field
Strong academic record
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Basic understanding of financial statements and valuation methods
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and manage multiple deadlines
Demonstrated interest in corporate finance, capital markets, mergers & acquisitions
Strong ties to the State of Michigan are required
Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future

Not Required but Strengthens Candidacy

Preference for those with junior standing or above in 2026–27 (anticipated graduation between December 2027 and June 2028)
Prior internship or coursework in finance, accounting, or investments
Experience with Capital IQ, Pitchbook, or other financial databases
Extracurricular leadership roles or finance clubs
